Jubal Cain is a rock band from Houston, Texas. Derek Ashworth appropriated the band’s name from his dead father’s band’s name. It was his sole inheritance (with apologies to the great Alvin “Jick” Thomas). Derek “Dick” and John Patin formed the present day JC a long time ago and have been cranking out original tunes for the past 12 years (at least) in the studio. Our current stage presence inlcudes Ben Patin on bass and the amazing Stephen Holguin on drums; John and Dick play guitar and sing. Ben plays bass and sings. Stephen plays drums and refuses to sing, but we feel he will find his inner Levon Helm eventually.
